Back in London...

Puh, what a week - or better two!
Now I am finally back in London. I could not be bothered to write here for the last three days, shame on me, I am sorry.

However, I got back from our Sulphur Conference on Tuesday last week. I landed at Heathrow at 2 PM and started working from home again at 4 PM. Actually, I was supposed to have the afternoon off but I had so much to do and Marc was not at home anyway so I caught up with some work. 10 days away from the office and some days even without internet mean lots of emails which could not be answered properly.

Work on Wednesday was not too bad but on Thursday it hit me around 3 PM. Suddenly I was so exhausted an tired I could hardly concentrate. But no time for a break, on Friday morning I was up and running at 5.15 AM again to get to Heathrow (again!) to go to Germany for the weekend.
Three days at home with my family, nice. If I just wasn't so tired...
My mom picked me up from the airport and we went to city center to look at some venues for the wedding. I had three appointments - the first at 1 PM, the second at 3 PM and the last one at 6 PM. PUUUUH, we were back at home at 8 PM. At that time I was already up for 15 hours.

And on Saturday my father woke me up at 6.30 AM again - HELP!
We went to visit my grandmother as it was her 84th birthday. We had really nice lunch (Grünkohl mit Pinkel, Kassler, Kochwurst und Kartoffeln) and coffe with cake but were just back home at 10.30 PM after having dinner with my grandma as well (why is it that you only eat all the time when you visit grandparents??). At least I could sleep in the car and a little longer on Sunday morning before I left again to go to a wedding fair with my mom and my best friend who will also be my maid of honour. From there I left straight to the airport to go home.

I think it is understandable that I do really look forward to the weekend, isn't it?
